📉 Electric car sales in European Union drop 5.8% in first nine months of the year
Even the most pessimistic forecasts couldn’t anticipate the reality of electric car sales in the European Union in 2024. Despite early optimism, sales in the first nine months of the year have fallen well behind other regions and have even dropped compared to 2023. During this period, 64.000 fewer electric cars were sold across Europe, representing just 13,1% of total vehicle sales, down from 14% the previous year.
