🥉 Sales of electric cars climb the winner's podium
A remarkable shift in the European car market took place in June, as battery-electric vehicles surged to prominence, overtaking diesel for the very first time. According to the latest data, new registrations of battery-electric cars in the EU witnessed an impressive 66,2% increase, totaling 158.252 units. This catapulted the market share of battery-electric vehicles to a 15,1%, marking a substantial rise from the 10,7% recorded in June of the previous year.
