🤖 Verne, Rimac’s autonomous EV subsidiary, breaks ground on new factory

Last June, Rimac, in which Porsche holds a 20% stake, unveiled its plans for a proprietary robotaxi service. Named after Jules Verne, the service and its ecosystem will be built around three key components, including the autonomous vehicle itself. This vehicle, to be manufactured by Verne, will be fully electric and designed as a two-seater. From the outset, it is intended to operate without a safety driver, featuring no steering wheel or pedals, similar to Tesla’s Cybercab, which was introduced four months later.
