🚀 Norway sets new global record for electric car sales
Electric car sales in Norway reached a record-breaking 94% market share in August, setting a new global benchmark, according to statistics released on Monday. This surge was largely driven by the Tesla Model Y, which accounted for 18,8% of sales, along with contributions from Hyundai’s Kona and Nissan’s Leaf. The Norwegian Road Federation reported that electric vehicles represented 94,3% of new car registrations, with 10.480 new EVs purchased in August, bringing the year-to-date total to 68.435.
